Automatic Conversion

Vector Magic provides free automatic vector conversion online, but they also have a downloadable desktop version. Automatic vector conversion has many disadvantages (read above), but their desktop version allows more control of your conversion. It allows some options of how your image will be converted, like: Basic and advanced controls where you can tell the software how many colors you want to include, number of segments, anti-aliasing controls, and more.

This is very nice software, and they offer a lifetime license as well. You will not achieve perfect results with their online service, or their desktop software, but it's a great option if you're not looking for pixel perfect results!
